Budoni Summer Welcome: Start of the Summer in Style!

Since 2014, the municipality of Budoni has made the 'Budoni Summer Welcome' an unmissable event for residents and tourists, marking the beginning of the summer with a celebration of local traditions and the territory.

 

This year, the event will kick off on Sunday 16 June, offering a rich programme of food, wine and cultural activities that will enliven the summer evenings.

 

Programme for Sunday 16 June

 

- 9 a.m. - midnight: Via Nazionale will be transformed into a lively market, with stands offering local culinary specialities and food and wine products in street food format.

 

- 7:30am: Departure from Piazza Giubileo for a bicycle tour of the magnificent Budoni area. Bikes will be available for hire.

 

- 9:00 a.m.: Guided hiking in the Budoni trails with biologist Gianni Meloni, starting from Piazza Giubileo.

 

- 9:00: Fitness lesson in the Sant'Anna pine forest in Tanaunella, available only by prior reservation.

 

- 9:00 am: 'Regenerate mind, body and soul' in the Sa Playa pine forest, with outdoor activities and shamanic drumming. At 10:30, 'Dance of the 5 Animals' for the little ones.

 

- 9:00 am: Kayaking experience in the Budoni lagoon, starting from the Stella Marina beach.

 

- 9:00 am - 12:00 pm: Free tennis lesson for children in the village of Agrustos, at the sports field. For adults, the lesson will be from 2pm to 4pm.

 

- 10:00 am: In Via Nazionale, pony rides for the little ones, animated by mascots and inflatable games.

 

- 5 p.m.: Local folk groups will bring traditional costumes and dances to the town's main street.

 

- 7.30 pm: Seafood specialities by Budoni's restaurateurs, at the price of €15 per person, accompanied by live acoustic music.

 

- 23:00: Fireworks show that will light up the sky of Budoni.
