Sanremo 2025

Sanremo is the most eagerly awaited musical event in February in Italy, an unmissable appointment that brings together millions of viewers in front of the TV to comment on and appreciate the new songs of Italian music. But which artists have a special bond with Sardinia?

Many successful Italian singers have chosen Sardinia not only as a tourist destination, but also to perform in concerts and participate in exclusive events.

Here are some well-known names:

•        On 3 August 2024, Achille Lauro performed in Iglesias, in Piazza Sella, as part of the ‘Iglesias Summer Wave’, the only Sardinian date of his ‘Summer Tour’. Later, on 28 September 2024, he brought his show ‘A Rave Before the Iliad’ to San Teodoro, performing in Piazza Gallura.
•         Francesco Gabbani, winner of Sanremo 2017, played in Arborea, Iglesias and La Maddalena after reaching Olbia.
•        Fedez has for years favoured the Costa Smeralda™, in particular Porto Cervo, as his holiday destination. His last concert in Sardinia was in Ozieri.
•        Giorgia has given several performances in Sardinia. One of the most significant was on 30 July 2005, when she performed in Santa Maria Navarrese as part of the ‘Rocce Rosse & Blues Festival’.
•        Irama and Elodie performed at the Red Valley Festival 2024 and celebrated New Year's Eve 2025 in Castelsardo. In addition, Elodie chose the beautiful beaches of Sardinia for her summer holidays, spending time in Golfo Aranci.
•        Rkomi took his ‘Insuperabile Tour’ to Alghero in August 2024.
•        Rose Villain concluded her tour in Decimomannu, on the outskirts of Cagliari, on 30 September 2024.
•        The Kolors had a significant presence in Sardinia between 2022 and 2024, performing at several major events. In particular, on 22 August 2024, the band performed in the Piazzetta Centrale of Porto Cervo during the ‘Gran Gala della Sardegna’, an event celebrating Sardinian folklore in all its forms.
•        Noemi, one of the best-loved voices of Italian music, was the star in Oristano on 29 June 2024 for the third edition of the ‘Festival of Sustainable Development’, ‘Desiderabili Futuri. Without inequalities, for a sustainable world', organised by Legacoop Sardegna, Forum Disuguaglianze e Diversità and Dromos Festival, with the support of Legacoop nazionale and ASviS.

These artists demonstrate that Sardinia is not only one of Italy's most popular tourist destinations, but also a place of inspiration and a reference point for live music and prestigious cultural events.
